Bangladesh has completed the audition stage of its national selection for Eurovision Asia 2026, with ten artists securing their places in the upcoming final of Voice of Bangladesh. The announcement marks another important milestone in the country's preparations for its debut at the inaugural Eurovision Asia Song Contest.

According to information reported by Eurovoix on 30 August, the final group of contestants has now been determined following the completion of the selection auditions.

Ten artists qualify for the national final

The announcement was shared following a social media update by jury member Ankhi Alamgir, who revealed that ten artists had successfully advanced through the audition process.

The selected contestants will now compete for the opportunity to become Bangladesh's first representative at Eurovision Asia 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 14 November.

The national selection, organised through the Voice of Bangladesh project, is being developed in cooperation with broadcaster NTV and entertainment platform Bongo.

Tahsan Khan announced as host

Further details about the upcoming national final have also emerged.

Popular Bangladeshi singer and actor Tahsan Khan has been announced as the presenter of the show, adding a familiar face from the country's entertainment industry to the selection.

The final is scheduled to take place on 30 September 2026, with a five-member professional jury expected to play a role in determining the winning entry.

NTV and Bongo prepare for Bangladesh's Eurovision debut

The collaboration between NTV and Bongo is central to Bangladesh's participation in the new international competition.

Through Voice of Bangladesh, the organisers aim to bring together established and emerging musical talent while providing a platform for the country's first Eurovision Asia representative.

With the audition stage now complete, attention turns to the ten finalists and the songs they will present before the national selection reaches its decisive stage.

The road to Bangkok

Bangladesh is among the countries participating in the inaugural Eurovision Asia Song Contest, which will bring together representatives from across Asia on 14 November 2026.

The winner of Voice of Bangladesh will carry the country's hopes to Bangkok, where Bangladesh will compete against the other participating nations for the first Eurovision Asia title.

The national final on 30 September is therefore set to be a significant moment in the country's preparations for its Eurovision debut.
